I am Kevin Choi, a nature photographer and stock photographer. Today I want to share with you some tips on how to become a better photographer. I start in photography for just one reason: I wanted to capture all the beautiful moments in my life as a keep-sake.
You won’t have the knowledge to find out what is useful and what is useless when you are a complete beginner.
You may have answered ‘yes’ to all the above points but still find that you are lack of the necessary skills requires to take a good photo. I want to tell you that I’ve gone through this road too. If you are still lacking of knowledge and skill. It is not your fault.
It is not your fault because many of online resources and books are only focusing on the “tricks” but not providing an introduction to photography skills. Some of the writers even don’t have solid photography knowledge.
It is not your fault because you are just a complete beginner so you don’t know how important much of the basic knowledge actually is.
It is not your fault because many of websites which teach introduction to photography are so boring. They make you fall asleep as you try to read the materials.
It is not your fault because you are taught to believe that owning an expensive camera and top gear make your photos fantastic. But the fact is that technique is much more important than gear.
